Access keys are unique tokens that authenticate your project and authorize access to our IP geolocation services. Each key you create in your dashboard is assigned a project, which you must include in your requests to ensure secure and authorized usage. By default projects come without any access keys but you can easily create new key for your project following these steps:
1

Have an Account

Create your Ip2Geo account or login to your existing account if you haven’t already. You can do that by visiting the Ip2Geo Dashboard. Once logged in, select the project you want to generate an access key for from your dashboard.
2

Create an Access Key

Navigate to the Access Keys section within your project settings. Here, you will find an option to create a new access key. Click on the “Create Access Key” button, provide a name for your key (to help you identify it later). After filling in the details, click “Generate Key” to create your access key.
3

Authenticate Your Project

With that key then you can authenticate your project when using the SDK or making direct API calls.
Keep your access keys secure and do not share them publicly. If you believe your key has been compromised, you can reroll it from the dashboard and generate a new one.
